Roeland Manifolds was started 24 years ago by Rowland Xaver Stanton, an iconic figure within the Cape Town (and South African) motor industry.
After Motor Drive was opened in 1984, and a decades long focus on the repair, maintenance and servicing of vehicles and trucks; Rowland “Rowley” identified a desperate need in the market for top quality intake manifolds.
Rowley’s vision was the power behind the success of our manifolds today.
In October 2024, Marius Janse van Rensburg, owner of the well-known RSM Motor Centre, acquired both Motor Drive and Rowland Manifolds from Rowland Stanton.
Marius and Rowley have a long history of mutual respect and work and Marius will be looking to maintain the Rowland Manifolds legacy, while expanding the business and product offering.
The experienced team of sand casters and custom designers can create ‘manifold magic’ for performance and street vehicles alike. Our team has over 2 decades experience and were all trained by Rowland Xaver Stanton (Rowley). Craftsmanship, precision and quality are never compromised.

Marius is deeply involved in Motorsport, and is a Grade A official with Do4SA – Dirt Oval 4 SA, an organization started by Chris Liebenberg and Nicky Koegelenberg. Marius officiates at all National and International meets, and shares this passion with his 3 sons.
He regularly attends racing meets and officiates. His passion is in assisting others to get the most out of their vehicles, which he does across 3 businesses now: Rowland Manifolds, Motor Drive and RSM Motor Centre.
Marius is going to be expanding the manifold offering, along with new accessories and a large distribution network globally. The focus will be on expanding into Africa and partnering with those who share his vision. *Rowland Manifolds couriers and delivers safely across the world, and Marius will be driving the entry into new intake manifold markets.
Marius is committed to outstanding service, quality production of manifolds and always keeping up with local and international trends within the market.
Rowland Manifolds will also continue in the tradition of sister company, RSM Motor Centre by taking part in social responsibility projects for Autism and Cancer.
